Eric, with over 39 years of experience in the securities and insurance industry, and Shiko, a Registered Nurse with a profound dedication to serving underserved communities, bring together a wealth of expertise and compassion in their joint efforts. Eric’s extensive career includes leadership roles in Wealth Management, where he has guided high-net-worth individuals and business owners through complex real estate transactions, tax mitigation strategies, and wealth preservation. His multidisciplinary approach is complemented by a vast network of tenured Tax Attorneys, CPAs, and other business advisors, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and tailored financial strategies. Shiko, on the other hand, leverages her nursing background and her role in health plans to advocate for the well-being of Black and Brown communities, particularly through Medicare and Medicaid services. Her work extends beyond healthcare, as she has forged impactful partnerships with local organizations, addressing critical issues like mental health in under served areas. Her Kenyan heritage and relentless drive for positive change fuel her passion for uplifting her community. With over a decade of experience as a Social Impact Strategist and Human Centered Designer at Ethnodesign, Kinja has cultivated a deep expertise in developing Afrocentric design solutions and aligning strategies with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His architectural background strengthened through roles as an Architectural Designer and Creative Director at The Archtivator, further enhances his commitment to sustainability, innovative design, and effective project management. As the CEO of Axorr Ventures Limited, Kinja has demonstrated exceptional leadership, steering the company to a turnover exceeding 20 million USD. His extensive experience spans civil works, architecture, social impact, business strategy, and project management. Kinja has also played a pivotal role in the development, design, business strategy, and creation of local partnerships in Kenya for Tranquil Assisted Living. This diverse and comprehensive experience makes him an ideal candidate to lead the Tranquil Project, ensuring it adheres to the highest standards of design, care, and sustainability.

Public Policy, CEC Health, Nairobi County Government
Suzanne Silantoi is the County Executive Committee (CEC) Member for Health and Wellness in the Nairobi County Government. A graduate with a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of York, UK, Suzanne brings a wealth of expertise and visionary leadership to her role. She spearheads transformative initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare services across Nairobi, overseeing 124 health facilities supported by over 4,000 health workers and an additional 7,800 health extension workers. Her efforts have been instrumental in improving the maintenance of county hospitals and ensuring access to quality healthcare services for Nairobi's residents. One of Suzanne’s standout achievements is leading the implementation of the Nairobi County School Feeding Programme, popularly known as "Dishi na County." This program is one of the largest school feeding initiatives in Africa, delivering over 300,000 subsidized, nutritionally balanced hot meals daily to children in public primary schools and ECD centers across the county. Her work demonstrates an unwavering commitment to the well being of Nairobi’s population, combining strategic policy-making with grassroots impact to ensure healthier futures for all. Her extensive experience in transforming healthcare systems and managing large-scale health initiatives makes her an invaluable asset to Tranquil Assisted Living. David Wacera is a seasoned Earthworks and Building Contractor with 20 years of experience, specializing in large-scale construction projects. He has successfully managed and executed projects valued at over 30 million USD, with expertise in constructing high-rise buildings of over 18 floors, alongside earthworks such as site grading, excavation, foundation laying, and utility installation. His command over these complex processes is supported by a robust fleet of over 80 advanced construction equipment, enabling him to efficiently handle diverse and challenging projects. He is deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. He ensures strict adherence to ISO-certified safety standards and places a strong emphasis on Occupational Health and Safety across all his projects. His extensive experience also includes a strong focus on designing and constructing buildings that ensure accessibility and meet Tranquil’s standard of care. Michelle Wanjiru is a seasoned sustainability expert with nearly a decade of experience in carbon emission reduction, waste management, Environmental and Social Safeguards (ESS), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies, resource efficiency, and renewable energy. As the Head of Sustainability and Impact, she has been instrumental in implementing innovative sustainable practices across various projects. Michelle holds an MSc in Sustainability from the University of Sussex and works at the Ethnodesign consortium, where she leads impactful sustainability initiatives. Her comprehensive expertise in these areas makes Michelle exceptionally well-suited to contribute to Tranquil Assisted Living. Her ability to integrate advanced sustainability strategies and ensure the acquisition of necessary certifications guarantees that Tranquil will comply with international and national environmental and social standards. Under her guidance, Tranquil will develop a state of the art facility that aligns perfectly with its mission to offer a caring and eco-friendly environment for all residents.

Lloyd Thuranira

Construction Guru, Advisory Board
Lloyd Thuranira is a seasoned Urban and Regional Planner with over 10 years of experience in infrastructure development, construction management, and environmental compliance. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and is the founder and Principal Director of Equilibrium Construction Limited, a firm widely recognized for delivering large-scale, technically complex projects with precision and professionalism. Lloyd has played a pivotal role in the successful execution of flagship national projects such as the Nairobi Expressway, Section 2A of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), and several geothermal energy developments. His portfolio also includes extensive projects both within and beyond Nairobi, where he has demonstrated a unique ability to balance innovation, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance. As a certified contractor with expertise in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Lloyd brings a sharp focus on sustainability and long-term viability. In addition to his planning and regulatory expertise, Lloyd is highly proficient in the construction of residential and institutional buildings, known for his meticulous attention to detail, design integrity, and capacity to manage large-scale builds from conception to completion. His technical acumen, leadership in multi disciplinary teams, and commitment to quality make him a strategic fit for the Tranquil Assisted Living Advisory Board. His insights will be invaluable in guiding the facility’s design, compliance, construction standards, and long-term infrastructure planning.

Margaret Maina
Legal Counsel
Margaret Main is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a seasoned legal professional with over 10 years of experience in corporate and insurance law. Her expertise spans life insurance policies, claims management, and compliance with Kenyan legal frameworks, including the Insurance Act and the Companies Act. She has worked extensively with leading insurance and financial institutions, offering counsel on risk mitigation, policy structuring, and governance. Her in-depth understanding of contract law, corporate transactions, and statutory compliance has made her a trusted advisor in aligning business operations with robust legal and ethical standards. At Tranquil Eden Ventures Limited, Margaret provides strategic legal guidance on governance, partnerships, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the company’s operations meet national and industry-specific standards. Dr. Ann Kamau

Dr. Ann Kamau, MBChB is a medical doctor in Kenya currently pursuing specialization in general surgery. She has gained valuable clinical experience working at The Nairobi Hospital and Kiambu County Hospital, where she has been involved in patient care across diverse medical settings. Driven by a deep passion for medicine, Dr. Kamau has developed a strong understanding of the challenges facing the healthcare sector today, including increasing demand for quality care, resource limitations, and the importance of dignity and compassion in medical practice. She is also passionate about the development of Tranquil, an assisted living initiative designed to provide a safe, supportive, and dignified environment for residents. Through this vision, Dr. Kamau hopes to contribute to improving long-term care and wellbeing for individuals who require supportive living arrangements.

Gillianne Onuko
LLB, CUEA | Postgraduate Diploma, Kenya School of Law Managing Partner
With over nine years of legal experience across the public and private sectors, Gillianne is passionate about governance, advocacy, and policy engagement. She provides legal advisory services to nonprofit organizations, businesses, and private clients on regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, risk management, and institutional structuring. Gillianne has advised organizations on compliance, documentation, and risk assessment, particularly during the transition into the Public Benefit Organizations (PBO) Act framework. She regularly works with boards and senior leadership to strengthen governance systems, support strategic decision-making, and ensure regulatory alignment. She also specializes in structuring and negotiating high-value real estate and corporate-commercial transactions, while offering thoughtful, solution-oriented counsel in private wealth matters.
